1. Start by holding the bristles face down and running them under lukewarm water (NEVER HOT).
2. Gently squeeze out any excess water.
3. In your palm, mix a dime-sized amount of mild soap/shampoo and olive oil, and massage the bristles in a circular motion under water until the water runs clear. Be careful not to submerge the bristles.
4. Gently squeeze out any remaining water using a clean towel.
5. Allow the brushes to air dry in an open space.
6. Remember to deep clean your brushes weekly, but never soak them in water, as this can cause the bristles to fall apart easily.
